Since you get a cut of each sale that you send our way, you can secure an additional revenue stream for your business or provide an excellent fundraising tool for your non-profit organization.
When a visitor follows an AP Affiliate link, banner, product listing or product review on your website that results in a sale on our site, you automatically get credited a minimum 10% commission on it. As they say, ‘the rising tide lifts all boats’, so please join us as we do our part in furthering the mission of Fair Trade!
Here's how it works...
Start off by creating an Affiliate Account. In short order, your account will be activated and you'll be able to log in to your account on this page. In your account you'll find instructions for setting up links on your site (either via banner or text links). These links can be featured on as many sites or pages as you like or could be distributed via email or other promotional methods. When visitors click on your unique Affiliate Links and are directed to a page within our shopping site, a cookie will associate the visit with your Affiliate account. When a sale ultimately results from this visit, your account will be credited a commission for the sale (your commission for each sale equals the pre-shipping, pre-tax order total multiplied by your Affiliate commission percentage).
As soon as your combined earnings reach a $5.00 threshold then you'll be eligible for payment at our next quarterly Affiliate payout date. Payouts generally occur within 2 weeks of the end of each quarter (in April, July, October, and January). Our preferred method of payment is via PayPal so as to assure a quick, effective and easily trackable means of payment. In the event that you can not establish a PayPal account, we can work out an alternate means of payment.
Information about building links, your Affiliate commission percentage, current earnings and last payment date is all available via the Affiliate Admin once you've logged in. AP reserves the right to reject or deactivate Affiliate accounts at any time.
