Autonomie Project, Inc.
Autonomie Project is a new Boston-based Fair Trade fashion company offering 100% eco-friendly, vegan, and Fair Trade apparel, footwear and accessories. Their mission is to supply stylish, high quality products to consumers that seek to make purchases that align with their values without having to sacrifice their own personal style.
AP works exclusively with small independent worker cooperatives and Fair Trade certified facilities to ensure that every worker along their supply chain is being paid a fair wage and is privy to other benefits such as health insurance and micro credit loans so that they, their families and their communities can lead healthy, sustainable lifestyles. We use only the highest quality eco-friendly materials and offset our operational carbon emissions whenever possible to lessen our environmental impact. Our products are relevant and fashionable for today’s market, always vegan , always eco, and always sweatshop-free so that you can wear your values and still look good!
Artists for Humanity
Artists For Humanity's mission is to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing underserved youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts. AFH tackles the myriad of problems youth face today with tremendous impact. We celebrate the talents and wonderful energy of young people by giving them hands-on experiences in creativity, business, teamwork, and self-governance. Creativity is at work and every young person is involved.
Participants learn the techniques and tools of professional artists and the business world while engaging in education, employment, artistic exploration, and entrepreneurial experience. This produces life-transforming change for youth and for their communities. With your support, we can grow even stronger in meeting the needs of these talented and hard working young people from Boston's urban neighborhoods.
Boston Faith and Justice Network
The Boston Faith & Justice Network (founded in 2006 and funded by the Emmanuel Gospel Center) is a community of Christians committed to alleviating poverty and promoting just stewardship. We believe that over-consumption and unjust consumption may just be emptying our bank accounts, exhausting the world’s dearest resources, and fueling the exploitation of the most vulnerable.
Something must change inside our souls & in our communities to set things right. So, together,we are taking these steps:1) Live Gratefully; 2) Change our community; 3) Advocate.
